CALLING ALL CREATORS. I Can Make Shoes was invited by adidas Originals for the London launch of the P.O.D S3.1, the design inspired by their mid-90’s running sneaker called Point of Deflection. Brooklyn Creator Farm recreated a larger version of their MakerLab at the Truman Brewery in Shoreditch for a pop-up sneaker making event.
Our teachers joined adidas Originals designers and independent customisers from all over the world to guide 100 of the top influencers in streetwear through the process of making their own sneakers. Floating between design customisation and stitching, our team had the opportunity to be mentored by some of the biggest names in the footwear industry.
We’ve put out a poll on our Instagram asking our community to comment and vote on what sort of courses you’d like to see more of. The vote is in and we're super excited to be introducing a sneaker making course at our East London studio and would love to hear what you think! Feel free to reach out Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and we will respond.
In the meantime, check out some of the influencers, press, writers, designers, customisers and celebrities we got to meet!
