Selecting the right last size can make all the difference in the world when it comes making shoes that fit comfortably. Wearing shoes that are too tight or too loose can cause a variety of issues so to help you find your correct last size, we’ve made this free downloadable shoe size conversion chart and foot measurement pdf. 😄
In this blog, we’ll teach you how to use our shoe size chart to make sure you select the perfect size lasts for your home shoemaking projects.
Print the guide (both pages) at 100% and use the scale check to make sure it’s printed to size.
Take the shoe size chart and place the bottom of the page against a wall.
Lower your foot onto the page then take your measurement to the nearest millimetre.
Use the measurement box provided to take note of your left and right foot measurements.
Taking your longest foot measurement (either left OR right), use one of the four measurement calculators on the ‘what’s my size’ page to figure out your final calculation.
Use the size converter to find the closest measurement to your calculation and select the appropriate lasts.
IMPORTANT: If you find yourself between sizes, we always recommend you drop down a size.
Once you’ve decided on the best size, you can purchase your shoemaking lasts HERE.
