Founder
The original I Can Make Shoes'er - Amanda founded the company back in 2010. As a native Aussie, Amanda did her footwear training in Sydney, Australia. It was when she moved to London that she realised it was really difficult to make shoes without all the machinery she was taught to use. She set out to develop a shoemaking process that makes the craft accessible for people to do from home and she’s been spreading the love of shoemaking ever since.

As our Head of Design and Content, Katie is in charge of all things creative. With her background in TV Production and experience in content creation and social media, she handles everything from filming and editing our Shoemaking and Bagmaking Online Course tutorials to creating eye-catching social content, and making sure our emails and website have that perfect vibe. She also loves to get crafty on her lunch breaks - you can normally find her crocheting, making some shoes or hand-stitching a bag.

Kate is a shoemaker, trained at LCF, and leads shoemaking workshops alongside Amanda. When she's not teaching you can often find her prototyping new shoe designs and creating shoemaking patterns. With her meticulous organisation skills, Kate ensures that the supply shop runs like a well-oiled machine and packs up all your shoemaking supply orders as well as responding to all your shoemaking queries.

shoemaking workshops (amsterdam)
Victoria runs our shoemaking workshops based in Amsterdam. She graduated with a BA in Footwear Design and Development at Cordwainers, London College of Fashion. Her graduate collection focused on the importance of comfort and practicality whilst also being stylish. She went on design shoes at Alexander McQueen, developed footwear for Lacoste before starting her own conscious shoe brand - Vandrelaar.
