I am so happy with this pair of shoes, I made them for one of my oldest friends for her wedding day so they are extra special to me!
Amelia had a very specific idea of what she wanted… white patent leather, slight square toe, thin straps that sit high on the ankle, beaded heels, comfortable!!, champagne gold detail, oh and one shoe slightly longer than the other.. well all I can tell you is that we nailed it!!!! 🤩
Honestly, I kind of wish I’d made myself a pair 😂

Here’s a little run through of how I made the shoes…
Step 1 - Firstly, I cut, stitched and assembled the uppers out of this awesome off-white patent leather from @faedatannery.
Step 2 - I then covered the heels in this beauuuutiful champagne leather then stuck on rows of beaded material all the way round, making sure there were no gaps!
Step 3 - Next, I covered the insoles in the same champagne gold leather, as well as a pair of insocks.
Step 4 - I then lasted the uppers to the insoles
Step 5 - Then, I glued the ankle straps which I had made out of the same off-white patent leather to the bottom of the insoles (a hammer came in handy at this point to make sure they were well and truly stuck!)
Step 6 - After that, I added beige resin soling to the bottom of the shoes.
Step 7 - Then, I drilled into the insoles and screwed in the heels.
Step 8 - Finally, I added the champagne gold insock. And there we have it, a stunning pair of wedding shoes fit for the loveliest bride!
